Pilates Exercise
.Each new client to the Physical Conditioning Centre begins with an
Evaluation Bundle that consists of a thorough Initial Evaluation and
three Private Instruction Sessions. After you have completed your
Evaluation Bundle you are free to choose any of the following Pilates workout
styles in any combination:
Initial Evaluation: To begin your Pilates exercise regime the Physical Conditioning Centre conducts a thorough initial Evaluation. The goal of the Evaluation is to understand your body’s unique history and needs so we can design a Pilates exercise protocol specifically for you. The Evaluation includes a mapping of boney landmarks and diagnostic exercises. No two bodies are identical and no two Pilates exercise protocols should be identical. Your Pilates exercise protocol will be monitored by our staff and re-Evaluations conducted periodically to ensure your Pilates exercise regime stays finely tuned for your body. Private Instruction Sessions: After your Evaluation, you will receive three private sessions with one of our certified instructors. In the private sessions you will master the principles of Pilates exercise. The one-on-one instruction ensures you are executing the Pilates exercises correctly. Correct form is important to maximize the effectiveness of your Pilates workout and to ensure your comfort and safety. The combination of the Evaluation and three Private Instruction sessions gives you an excellent personalized foundation for all your future Pilates workouts. Of course Private Instruction is not just a part of the Evaluation Bundle, it is always available to be scheduled for anyone who chooses. Open Studio: Upon completion of the Private Instruction sessions, you will be ready to workout in the instructor supervised Open Studio. The Open Studio allows for up to a 1 ˝ hour Pilates exercise workout scheduled at your convenience. You will have access to our large inventory of Pilates equipment. Instructor Led Classes: As your Pilates exercise proficiency increases, you will be able to participate in a wider variety of classes offered at various times of the day. |
